How far in advance should I book my tour?
In high season — April to October — book a week ahead for small-group tours and two weeks for private guides. Off season, a couple of days is usually enough.
Where are the meeting points for the tours?
Each tour has its own meeting point, given on the product page and again in your confirmation email with a map link. Most Old City tours meet in Sultanahmet square.
Are entrance tickets included in the tour price?
It depends on the tour. Every product page lists what is included and what is not; where entry is excluded, the guide can usually take you through the fast-track lane with a ticket bought separately.
What languages are the tours available in?
English on every departure. Turkish, Spanish, German and French on many, and other languages on request for private tours. The languages are listed on each product page.
Can I book a private tour for my family or group?
Yes. Private tours are booked for your party alone and the route can be adjusted. For groups over ten people, contact us and we will arrange it directly.
What is the cancellation and rescheduling policy?
Tours marked "free cancellation" can be cancelled for a full refund up to 24 hours before the start. Rescheduling within that window is free where places are available.
Are the tours suitable for children?
Most are. Walking tours cover three to five kilometres on uneven ground, which is a lot for small children; the food and Bosphorus tours suit families better. Age suitability is on each product page.
